AML / KYC Policy Ex4Bit

1. General Principles

Ex4bit service adheres to international standards in the field of anti-money laundering (AML) and prevention of terrorism financing (CFT).

In addition, the platform follows the "Know Your Customer" (KYC) program standards, ensuring reliable user identification and transparency of all operations.

The purpose of these measures is to exclude the possibility of using Ex4bit for any actions related to illegal activities or concealment of the origin of funds.

2. Transaction Monitoring and Assessment

All incoming transfers to the platform undergo automatic verification using risk analysis tools.

If algorithms detect signs of anomalous or suspicious activity, the transaction is temporarily suspended and sent for internal review.

As part of the review, service staff analyze the data and, if necessary, initiate additional AML / KYC verification.

3. AML / KYC Procedure

If a transaction falls under verification criteria, the user is required to confirm their identity and the origin of funds.

This may require:

  • provision of an identity document
  • information about the origin of funds
  • description of the route by which the cryptocurrency arrived at the sender's address

Additional supporting materials may be requested. Refusal to undergo verification leads to order blocking.

4. Fund Returns

After verification and if it is impossible to complete the exchange, the transaction may be canceled with subsequent return of funds to the user.

The return is carried out only after completion of the entire AML / KYC procedure, with a deduction of up to 5% of the transfer amount for administrative costs and network fees.

5. Responsibilities of the Parties

The user bears personal responsibility for the legality of the origin of funds involved in the exchange.

Ex4bit reserves the right to:

  • refuse to execute a transaction if signs of AML policy violation are detected
  • suspend order execution until verification is completed
  • request additional information about the user or transaction

The service is not responsible for losses arising from the actions of a user who concealed or distorted information about the origin of assets.

6. Final Provisions

Ex4bit operates strictly in accordance with the principles of good faith and international AML / CFT requirements.

Any attempt to use the service for dubious or unlawful transactions will result in immediate suspension of the order, notification of the user and, if necessary, transfer of information to the relevant authorities.
